About Claire
Claire Parker BA(Hons.) Cantab. PGCE.

Claire has been riding and training for over 20 years. Throughout this time she has worked in many equestrian industries, ranging from Polo and Racing to Grand Prix Dressage Yards. Whilst working and competing in these industries she identified a need for good quality, affordable training which enables riders to progress, from novices to experienced competitors.
Claire's own competitive career has focused on Eventing and Dressage, which has equipped her with an excellent knowledge of Showjumping, Cross Country and Dressage training. Claire currently owns and competes Dressage horses, yet still jumps her own and clients' horses at local and affiliated competitions, both BE and BSJA.
Before setting up 'Claire's Equestrian' Claire attended Cambridge University where she studied English Literature, completed a Master's degree in effective teaching strategies and worked as a teacher in rural and Inner London schools. She has a PGCE in Primary Teaching, a qualification which has enabled her to further develop her communication and teaching skills.
Due to her teaching background Claire is also an excellent choice for childrens lessons. She holds a CRB Enhanced Disclosure, vital for working with children, and a current First Aid at Work Certificate.
